THE AVIATION FOX

Intelligence in flight

Private aircraft acquisition, handled personally. I learn what matters to you, search the entire market, listed and unlisted, and work only on your side of the table.

Who you'll work with

One advisor. Every option.

Buying an aircraft is a large, private decision, and most buyers only see what happens to be listed this week. My job is to see everything, sort it against what you actually need, and tell you plainly which aircraft deserve your time.

I'm backed by the in-house technicians of 305 SKY, who maintain turboprops and jets every day at Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Vero Beach. When an aircraft makes your shortlist, people who know that type have already read its logbooks.

The approach

From first conversation to the keys

  1. i.

    Discovery

A private meeting, ideally at our hangar in Fort Lauderdale, to understand how you'll fly, who flies with you, and what matters most to you.

  2. ii.

    Mission brief

A one-page brief you approve: range, cabin, budget, year range and the trade-offs you will and won't make.

  3. iii.

    The full market

Every listed aircraft that fits, plus owners who haven't listed yet, found through worldwide fleet and ownership data.

  4. iv.

    Shortlist

Three to five aircraft compared side by side on your priorities, with my honest recommendation.

  5. v.

    Offer and inspection

I negotiate, coordinate the pre-purchase inspection, and keep you informed every step of the way.

  6. vi.

    Closing and after

Funds and title move through an independent aviation escrow company. Maintenance and management are there when you want them.

What I ask first

Your aircraft starts with your answers

Range
Your longest nonstop trip in nautical miles, with reserves, and the runway length at your home airport.
Passengers
Who usually travels, the most you'll ever carry, and whether you need to stand, work or sleep on board.
Budget
Purchase price and the full yearly cost to own and fly, which most buyers underestimate.
Year range
How new it must be, and the avionics and engine-program status you expect.
Brand
Makers you prefer or avoid, and how you feel about damage history or a refurbishment.
Operation
Who will fly it, where it will live, and whether you'd like it managed.

Answer the questions now

How I'm paid

Clear terms, in writing

You should always know who your advisor works for. The answer here is you.

  • A one-time engagement fee when we begin, credited in full against the success fee when you close.
  • A success fee at closing, agreed in writing before the search starts.
  • I accept no compensation from the seller on your purchase.
  • Any work 305 SKY performs on your aircraft, such as a pre-purchase inspection, is disclosed in advance, and you're free to choose an independent shop.

I take on a limited number of acquisition clients at a time, so each search gets my full attention.
